- Produce production schedule, working with CSR’s regarding rush orders and date/quantity change requests
- Schedule new molds and new orders accordingly
- Maintain raw material & stock resale inventory levels
- Determine if / when material should be added or removed as stock items
- Maintain SIC & OTC items and communicate with sales staff periodically regarding continuance of items on these lists
- Analyze monthly slow moving and obsolete items. See if sales can move or if items can be used in house. Arrange with accounting for disposal of items to be removed from inventory for disposal.
- Setup & reconcile bi-weekly cycle counts
- Schedule & plan for annual physical inventory
- Order plant consumables and pallets/crates as needed
- Configure crate size (with assistance if needed) for export orders and schedule delivery
- Enter daily production into JDE
- Perform inventory analysis at each month end
- Prepare various monthly KPI reports
- Prepare quotes for manufactured items, working with the operations group as necessary; enter Augusta pricing into E1 or email pricing to other intercompany sites
- Track energy usage and monitor market pricing
- Lead ISO auditor – Perform regular ISO Internal Audits. Prepare annual audit schedule.
- Perform bi-monthly Joint Environmental inspections. Sit on Joint Environmental Review Committee.
Qualifications:Qualifications:
- Must have a good working knowledge of JDE, EXCEL & WORD;
- Should have basic knowledge of blueprint reading;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of costing, lean environment & continuous improvement;
- Understanding of Organic and Inorganic Vacuum Forming Processes is a plus
- Must have good communication skills and be able to multitask and be able to work under tight deadlines often in a chaotic environment;
- Understanding of ABC Inventory method & cycle counting is helpful
Minimum Qualifications:Good working knowledge of EXCEL; some basic cost accounting background would be beneficial; exposure to 5S, lean methodology and continuous improvement as well as some exposure to Quality & Environmental management systems.“This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
