The project includes five stations along an extension of roughly eight kilometres. With knowledge of construction, engineering, and financesSignificant experience with heavy rail design and construction within CN and GO rail corridors; extensive working knowledge of CROR and flagging proceduresBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related disciplineHolding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience working in a Collaborative environment to create a high-performing work culture is strongly desiredExperience in Progressive Contract Delivery Model (Progressive Design-Build and Alliance), DBB, and P3 is an assetKnowledge of construction management practices and principles including familiarity with claims management is an assetPrior experience with municipalities and transit agencies is an assetPrior experience with any aspect of design, construction and commissioning of multi-disciplinary transit projects is an assetAdvanced skills in Microsoft OfficeProficient in Project Management softwareThorough understanding of prevailing Project Management methodsExpert knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performanceStrong ability to identify and minimize risks in advanceCapability to detect, capitalize, and be sensitive to others’ strengthsStrong supervision, delegation, and capacity development abilitiesDetailed experience in effectively leading mid-sized multi-disciplinary project teamsCompetent to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tensionAbility to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadershipKeen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilitiesMust have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environmentYou’ll also have:Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.Property or infrastructure project management expertise.Commercial and financial acumen.Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working onMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
