Oakville (Ontario)Position Type: Permanent – Full-Time In-officeAccountability:
- P&L responsibility for a business line of around 40 MEUR with managing and developing direct and indirect employees in a matrix organization.
- Deliver results for Hydro Service business in Canada 40+ MEUR in Orders Received and responsibility to generate profit margins above 15% in execution.
- Deliver consistently monthly run-rate of 3 to 5 MEUR in orders and develop pipeline necessary with 100% back-ups to ensure achievement of results through timely closing of orders.
- Aspire to achieve a 20% Orders Received growth year-over-year and improve Operating Profit every year, with an ambition to reach above 50 MEUR in yearly orders received by FY 2026/27.
- Further establish and inspire Service business responsibility in Canada across 3 Service hubs and build high performance teams that deliver results.
- Grow an addressable market and identify local partnerships and cooperations.
- Try out ideas for new business case generation: e.g. Long-term service agreements, Generator repairs, Non-OEM Footprint, Plant Assessment and Education Service and Digital offering, and achieve incremental growth every year from new business areas.
- Establish close cooperation with peers from global business case responsibility and work in team in taking help and developing business growth together.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial Engineering degree (B.S. or equivalent), trained in General Management skills. MBA from a top business school is of advantage
- 10+ years of experience in functions Sales and Project Management in Energy Sector
- 4+ years’ Leadership experience of Service business in Energy Sector
- This role requires significant travel within Canada and occasional visits to US and Europe
- Proven track-record in developing high performance teams in developing vision together with teams, defining clear targets and expectations, inspiring & motivating teams on achieving consistent progress, and drive change wherever necessary. Strong professional network and experience in recruiting is necessary
- Proven track-record in delivering results and business growth, strategic and operational experience in running P&L is an added advantage
- Business fluent in English. Knowledge of French language is an advantage
- International and inter-cultural experience in working and leading diverse teams
- Ambitions for personal and business growth and visionary from nature and able to inspire and convince teams on growth ambitions
- Ability to negotiate and deal making with customers, and knowledge of contracts in energy sector
- Proactive and ability to create positive energy in surroundings
- Perseverance in initiating, driving and bringing topics over finish line and able to deliver results
- Speed in implementation as core competence. Able to differentiate the speed and perfection, ability to multi-task and ability to prioritize the work where necessary
- Proven team spirit, ability to work in matrix organizations and stakeholder management skills is a must
- Trained on basics of Compliance and EHS requirements
