Job description: Geotechnical Engineer (Senior Level)
Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer to design projects with a multi-disciplinary team for dam removals, embankment dam refurbishments, fish passage facilities, recreation facilities, renewable energy projects, and stream restorations. We are looking for someone to join a dynamic team of professionals working on unique projects across Canada and the United States.
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil (concentration in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering) or Geotechnical Engineering from ABET or Engineers Canada accredited college/university
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering
• Design experience of embankments, deep and shallow foundation design, and seismic design
• Enjoys collaborating with clients and co-workers and can collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team while applying geotechnical engineering skills from analysis and design through to construction

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master’s in Civil Engineering with concentration in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering
• Experience performing dam safety, foundation, embankment, or construction/temporary excavation support inspections
• Experience in slope stability and seepage analyses, preferably with Slope/W and Seep/W software
• Experience developing geotechnical investigation, monitoring and instrumentation programs, and laboratory testing programs
